DraftKings college football picks January 2: Warren peace

It is with great sadness that I announce that this is the last DraftKings college football slate of the season. All of the rest of these will be showdown slates, which I don’t do quite as well at, and honestly, aren’t nearly as much fun. If DraftKings wises up and makes a classic DraftKings college football tournament for the rest of the games this week, then I’ll write that up too. Right now, it doesn’t look promising.

More from DraftKings

This is an interesting slate with Boston College missing A.J. Dillon against a better than advertised Cincinnati defense. We also have a resurgent Tennessee team taking on an Indiana team looking for it’s first bowl win in 29 years. There’s still plenty to like about this slate!

I lost both James Cook and Ruggs from yesterday’s slate, so I didn’t hit the cash line even though i hit with Johnson and the quarterbacks. I did make my money back by rolling heavy on Georgia on the late DraftKings college football slate though.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. DraftKings college football scoring realizes that!
