DraftKings NBA picks January 14: Can you cram in two studs?

We have a solid six game DraftKings NBA slate for our Tuesday night. The Rockets, Mavs, and Hawks, and Clippers are all in action, so we have plenty of star power. Where is the value going to come from? That’s going to be the tough part. First, we have to see who’s not playing.

Out: Russell Westbrook (rest), Paul George (hamstring), Kristaps Porzingis (knee), Steph Curry (hand), Kevin Love (rest), Ricky Rubio (personal), Klay Thompson (knee), Marcus Morris (neck), Damion Lee (contract), Jae Crowder (hip), Alex Len (back), Mike Conley (hamstring), Jabari Parker (shoulder), Kevin Porter (knee), Larry Nance (knee), Robin Lopez (rest), Dylan Windler (leg), Dennis Smith (oblique), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Andre Iguodala (personal), Bruno Caboclo (knee), Kevon Looney (abdomen), Ryan Broekhoff (leg), Bruno Fernando (personal), Frank Kaminsky (knee), Nene (hip), Gerald Green (foot).

Questionable: Jordan Poole (ankle), Ante Zizic (illness).

Lee should be back on Thursday, but the Warriors have already ruled him out tonight, so a big thanks to the team for that one. People like me appreciate it, not that they care. Young will play for Atlanta and apparently without a minutes limit. Now the only news is for players that aren’t really in our pool anyway.

I was on Hayes instead of Okafor and CP3 over SGA. That kept my three lineups out of the money. Factor111 had a whopping 402.75 DraftKings points, a full 6.5 points ahead of second place. He built with Ball, SGA, Simmons, Melo, CJ, Love, Fox, and capped it off with Okafor. Yet another balanced lineup with a takedown!

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
