DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks January 17

This two round DraftKings EuroLeague week was bookended by large slates. We close out round 20 with six games. I ended up in sixth place yesterday, so I’m looking to turn that into another strong finish! First, we have to see who we’re playing with or without, as the case may be.

Out: Bojan Dubljevic (ankle), Vasilije Micic (ankle), Bryant Dunston (arms), Janis Strelnieks (hamstring), Charles Kahudi (ankle), Mike Tobey (calf), Luca Vildoza (shoulder), Edwin Jackson (knee), Dmitry Khvostov (ankle), Marko Jagodic-Kuridza (Achilles), Stratos Perperoglu (knee), Will Clyburn (knee), Patricio Garino, Stefan Peno, Marius Grigonis, Jayson Granger (knee).

Questionable: Nihad Dedovic (back), Dejan Davidovac (ankle), Makai Mason (hip), Ismael Bako (illness), Anton Ponkrashov (illness), Filip Covic (leg), Zan Sisko (groin).

Baskonia expects Hackett to return today, so that adds another strong player to the pool and removes the value of Hilliard. All of the questionable players missed the round 19 games earlier this week. Some may return, some wont.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
