The party for LSU continued at the White House on Friday with the Get the Gat dance going viral.

LSU was honored at the White House on Friday for its national championship season. The Tigers celebration immediately went viral, and it wasn’t for anything the president said or did. The Get the Gat dance has been an LSU staple since Grant Delpit first issued the challenge after beating Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl. It took on a new level at the White House with a mystery woman captivating the internet.

The Get the Gat challenge video from the White House opened on Gemi Bordelon, wife of former LSU player Ben Bordelon, the President and CEO of Bollinger Shipyards. The Bordelons are close to LSU coach Ed Orgeron.

This is the dance at its peak. It’s all downhill from this moment.

The LSU players dancing to the song, “Get the Gat” by Lil ELT hit the mainstream after LSU beat Clemson on Monday night to win their first national title since 2007. Players, including former Tiger, Odell Beckham Jr. was seen on the Superdome field doing the dance.

Heisman-winning quarterback Joe Burrow did it after completing the greatest season by a college player ever and he showed that even some white guys have some rhythm.

The LSU cheerleaders did their own version of the Get the Gat and Mike the Tiger even got in on the viral craze that is one more reason to love this team.

It’s been a wild week for LSU.

Monday saw them win the natty, Tuesday saw them have to deny Odell Beckham gave out real money to players after the game, Wednesday had them admitting it was real money and they are investigating. Things escalated on Thursday with New Orleans police issuing a simple battery warrant for Beckham’s arrest for slapping a cop in the locker room on the butt.

Friday got things back on track with the White House visit where President Donald Trump said Coach O is all man, joked about the Democrats trying to impeach the ‘son of a bitch’, getting Burrow’s Heisman while accepting a No. 45 jersey that definitely won’t fit. Somehow, the only thing that could trump Trump was setting a thirst trap for dudes wanting to identify a mystery woman in a Get the Gat dance video.

Only LSU.

Best team ever.
