Tom Brady leaving the Patriots feels like LeBron taking his talents to South Beach

Tom Brady’s decision on where he plays in 2020 has LeBron James vibes, at least that’s how Troy Polamalu feels.
A decade ago, LeBron James captivated the world with his decision on where he would continue his basketball career. Tom Brady isn’t anywhere near the prime of his career but will command LeBron-levels of attention when it comes to where he will finish his career.
The idea of Brady playing in anything other than a Patriots uniform feels weird, but it’s a real possibility. Troy Polamalu played against Brady in New England his entire career, but wouldn’t be bothered if he saw his former foe with another team.
In fact, Polamalu is getting LeBron taking his talents to South Beach vibes from Brady and thinks whatever he decides will be good for the league.
“Whatever it is, it’s going to be the best thing for whatever team he’s on,” Polamalu told FanSided’s Mark Carman. “Whether or not he’s back in New England, it’s going to be the best thing for football and for the fans.”
It’s a perspective not many seem to be taking, specifically fans in Massachusetts who won’t be tickled if Brady plays anywhere other than New England next season. But much like when LeBron went to the Heat, there will be an entertainment value to Brady playing football next season that we should all slow down and appreciate.
Troy Polamalu spoke on behalf of Head and Shoulders, which just released their new styling collection and Troy teamed up with Patrick Mahomes on their new campaign.
