7. Tennessee Titans

This team was the hardest to rank out of all of them because their run to the AFC Championship was so unexpected and they have a lot that could happen this offseason. They came into the playoffs as the sixth seed, and then proceeded to beat the defending Super Bowl Champion Patriots and the number-one seeded New England Patriots.

Both their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and star running back Derrick Henry are set to become free agents. If they have to replace both of them, it’s obviously going to severely hurt their chances of returning to the final four. However, if they are able to build off of what they built this season, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

However, even if they add all those pieces, there are big question marks whether they would be able to do it again. Tannehill isn’t exactly the beacon of consistency. Henry is a running back, and we’ve seen what happens when they get paid. A.J. Brown had a really nice rookie season, but receivers usually have a learning curve in year two.

Still, there’s a ton of hype around this squad, and despite the uncertainty we see the money flowing in on them. Sometimes teams need one run to become a dynasty, but more often than not these runs are usually a one-hit wonder. We’ve seen many examples as of late (Jaguars, Vikings, Colts) that this is a fluke, and isn’t sustainable like the teams we always place in the column of “favorites.” However, before they prove us wrong, we will give the Titans a chance.
