DraftKings NBA picks February 4: Stars on parade

It’s a pretty light night for our DraftKings NBA tournaments with just four games going on in the Association. We also have an extra half hour of rosterbating since the tournaments start at 7:30 eastern instead of 7.

This slate isn’t short on star power though. The Rockets, Blazers, Bucks, Pelicans, and Lakers are all in action on this small slate. We have the beaten-up Denver squad and Charlotte for value. Also the Spurs guards on a back-to-back if you want to play roulette. Let’s see who wont be participating tonight.

Out: Russell Westbrook (thumb), Clint Capela (heel), Michael Porter (ankle), P.J. Washington (ankle), Paul Millsap (knee), Mason Plumlee (foot), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Zach Collins (shoulder), George Hill (hamstring), Nene (hip), Gerald Green (foot), Bol Bol (foot), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Skal Labissiere (knee), Darius Miller (Achilles), Kenrich Williams (back), DeMarcus Cousins (knee).

Questionable: Jamal Murray (ankle), Austin Rivers (illness).

It’s a pretty cut and dry injury slate here. However, the status of both Murray and Rivers will both affect our builds since Westbrook is out.

As pissed off as Sunday made me, last night was even worse. I came up completely empty, which is pretty unusual. I hit on Beal and Ayton, but that’s about it. Brunson was a dud. Morant was disappointing. I put together three out of four lineups near 300, but with the cash line at a ridiculous 317.5, I was nowhere close.

chris-26 took it down with 404.25 DraftKings points. He even survived Doumbouya under 20 DraftKings points thanks to great value out of Burks, LeVert, Jonas, Butler, Ayton, and anchored by Love and Porzingis.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
