DraftKings NBA picks February 4: Stars on parade
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:
Best Bets:
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,400): Giannis has played between 30 and 32 minutes each of the last four games and has cleared 60 DraftKings points each time. If Giannis plays 30, he’s hitting 60. Giannis is the safest of the high priced options, but I don’t think he has the upside of LeBron or Harden.
Anthony Davis ($9,300): Davis has 101.75 DraftKings points in two games against the Spurs so far. Considering LeBron’s success, it’s worth using the two together here. Davis is cheap enough that you can pair him with any of the expensive guys and not have to scrape the bottom of the barrel. I kind of think Davis could end up with low ownership here. That makes me want to use him even more.
Honorable Mention:
Zion Williamson ($7,100): Zion had his highest DraftKings points output since the game against Boston and his price went down. Cool! I know a matchup with Giannis isn’t something you actively seek out, but Zion should be able to hold his own here. Don’t expect a ceiling game, but mid 30’s should be attainable.
Carmelo Anthony ($5,500): Melo is heading back to Denver. He put up 40.75 DraftKings points in the first game against his former team this season. It’s hard to believe that Melo will hit that mark again with Lillard breaking every slate, but Melo should be well worth this price.
Dark Horses:
Miles Bridges ($5,300): Bridges will be in the starting lineup again with Washington out. Bridges is riding a streak of three straight games over 34 DraftKings points. He’s way too cheap for what he has been doing so far. Bridges provides scoring that the Hornets desperately need. He should be in for big minutes once again.
Danuel House ($5,100): With Capela out again, House will draw another start. He has 60.75 DraftKings points while starting over the last two games. He put up 47.75 on Utah in his last start before that. House looks like a great value play again tonight.
