DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($10,100): His ankle is good enough to play against Minnesota, and that’s good enough for me. Hell, Young on one ankle could hit value against Minnesota. Trading Teague didn’t help the defense out much, if at all. So long as Young isn’t on a minutes limit, he should have no issues hitting the 57 DraftKings points that he got against Minnesota earlier this year.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($8,000): Dinwiddie burned those of us that used him against a sad Suns team on Monday. This is a similarly good matchup with the Warriors, but will LeVert take over like he did last game? This is a better defensive matchup for Dinwiddie, but I would have said the same thing on Monday. This feels risky even though it shouldn’t be. Still, this is a nine game slate. I’m not sure we need to take this much of a gamble.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Paul ($7,500): Paul has been relatively consistent of late, but his low mark of the last seven games is 33 DraftKings points with a high of 50. When the low end of the inconsistency is almost 5x value, I don’t see Paul as much of a risk. This is a great matchup and Paul is fresh off of dropping 50 on the Suns. He looks like a great play again tonight.

Kyle Lowry ($6,700): Lowry put up 53 DraftKings points on the Pacers the first time around, but I doubt that happens again with Brogdon back in the fold. Still, Lowry feels cheap at this price. VanVleet and Siakam are doing most of the scoring right now, but Lowry still keeps putting up balanced stat lines. Lowry is still relatively low risk with his price in this range.

Dennis Schroder ($6,700): Schroder is the most consistent of the three-headed Oklahoma City guard monster. He has three straight games over 42 DraftKings points and hasn’t been under 5x value in almost three weeks at this price. Simply put, Schroder is a steal and is suitable for all formats right now.

Dark Horses:

Jeff Teague ($5,200): Teague had his best game as a Hawk with injuries ravaging the Atlanta wings. He and Trae worked well together. Teague put up 35.25 DraftKings points in that game. Atlanta is going to be similarly weak tonight, so I would expect to see more of Teague tonight.

Darius Garland ($5,000): Garland has done well since getting a maintenance day off last week. He has 87.75 DraftKings points in the three games since then. That’s plenty good enough for this price. Garland had 33.75 DraftKings points in the first game against the Thunder. I don’t know if he goes quite that high tonight, but it’s certainly possible.

Jordan McLaughlin ($3,300): McLaughlin may even get the start at the point tonight over Culver. He has 50.5 DraftKings points in 58 minutes over the last three games. The limited minutes are going away with McLaughlin almost the only point guard on the roster. He’s going to be a big part of the Minnesota rotation for the foreseeable future. Enjoy the bargain while he’s still priced like one!
