DraftKings NBA picks February 6: Win big with Giannis

We have a solid five game DraftKings NBA slate on tap for Thursday. There were a lot of late scratches last night as trades went through. With the trade deadline coming several hours after I publish this article, some of this is going to be irrelevant by then anyway, but what can I do? Well, I can put down the players that I know aren’t playing.

Out: jonathan Isaac (knee), Josh Richardson (hamstring), Lauri Markkanen (pelvis), Wendell Carter (ankle), D.J. Augustin (ankle), Otto Porter (foot), Kris Dunn (knee), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Denzel Valentine (hamstring), Daniel Gafford (ankle), Allonzo Trier (illness), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Zach Collins (shoulder), Skal Labissiere (knee), Nassir Little (ankle), Darius Miller (Achilles), Kenrich Williams (back), DeMarcus Cousins (knee).

Questionable: Russell Westbrook (thumb), RJ Barrett (ankle), Damyean Dotson (illness)

The Knicks could be especially thin at guard if they trade Dennis Smith, who is the target of a couple of teams. Other trade targets on this slate are Alex Caruso, Jrue, Simmons, and Embiid. No one thinks Philly is really interested in dealing either of their stars, but we also have to keep an eye on who could be departing the Lakers, Sixers, Pelicans, and Bucks in advance of the slate. No one really thinks Houston is done either. Also, I kind of doubt Russ plays since he has sat one game of back to backs all season long. He would have sat tonight or tomorrow anyway.

The scores were bonkers last night. I had six lineups and all six of them cleared 300 points with ease. Only two of them cashed, but it was enough for me to at least break even. I used Jokic, Kawhi, and PG on the night slate, so it was a good night.

gtsauthentics took it down with 407.75 DraftKings points. He built with Jokic, Porzingis, and Ayton much like I did. He also got massive value out of Jordan McLaughlin, Schroder, Derrick Jones, Jackson, and Wood. I used all of these players, but sadly, not all in the same lineup.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
