DraftKings NBA picks February 6: Win big with Giannis
By Mike Marteny
DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:
Best Bets:
LeBron James ($10,400): LeBron racked up 58.75 DraftKings points on the Rockets the first time around. If Covington isn’t available, the Rockets will have little to prevent the King from putting the smack down on this uprising is his Kingdom of the Western Conference again. I wouldn’t expect much over this though. I’ll let you know why later.
DeMar DeRozan ($7,900): DeRozan continues to carry the Spurs on his back. This is a good matchup with Portland, but DeRozan didn’t really go off on Portland either time. He only has 70 DraftKings points in two games against Portland. I think there are better placed to spend tonight, but we’ve seen DeRozan’s upside. He could be a steal at this price.
Honorable Mention:
Brandon Ingram ($7,600): Ingram had a massive game against the Bulls in the first meeting, ravaging that front for 61.5 DraftKings points. Chicago’s lineup is worse now than it was then. As I mentioned earlier, the Pelicans are geared a little differently at full strength, but Ingram still consistently hits 40 DraftKings points. The Pelicans have cleared Zion to play, but they aren’t going to push him. I think this will be a bigger game for Ingram tonight.
Khris Middleton ($7,400): Middleton put up 51 DraftKings points on Christmas against the Sixers. He was the lone bright spot for the Bucks that day. Don’t worry about Giannis sapping Middleton’s productivity. Unlike the opponent on the other side, Middleton and Giannis have figured out how to play together. Middleton has over 40 DraftKings points in each of the last three games with Giannis playing. This should be number four.
Dark Horses:
Trevor Ariza ($4,300): Ariza has cooled down after a hot start with Portland. However, if there’s one guy that can’t stop him, it’s Lyles. I don’t expect a big game out of Ariza here, but he could finally hit value agian. Hey, it’s a small slate. We have to dig deeper than usual.
J.J. Redick ($3,600): Redick came back with a decent showing after arguably the worst of his entire career on Saturday. The minutes are down for Redick, but he still shoots enough to hit value. He also put up 39.5 DraftKings points on the Bulls the first time around. Redick wont do that since he’s not starting this one, but he could flirt with 6-7x value here.
