DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,100): Giannis had a pedestrian (for his price) 50 DraftKings points against the Sixers when they stole Christmas. He’s going to have to have a better game this time around. It seems as though Philly is deconstructing right before our eyes, and the media isn’t helping. I think the Bucks get their revenge here. I expect a big game out of Giannis.

Julius Randle ($8,300): I normally wouldn’t throw Randle out there against a solid defensive team like Orlando, but if Morris is dealt, more of the burden is going to fall on Randle’s shoulders. He can handle it. We have seen him have some big games this season, usually when the Knicks are down a few players. This could be one of those nights if Morris and/or DSJ are dealt.

Honorable Mention:

Zion Williamson ($7,700): I know it’s the Bulls, but this price is too high. Zion is still on a bit of a minutes limit, but the Pelicans are going to be overly cautious with his toe. If it bothers him at all, he’s done for the night. The fact that Zion is more than Ingram is an exercise in absurdity. I like Zion a lot, especially against the Bulls, but I think this is a situation where we go for Ingram instead.

Aaron Gordon ($6,300): Gordon put up 37.25 DraftKings points in the first game against the Knicks. My gut feeling is that Morris gets dealt and doesn’t play for the Knicks tonight. That gives Gordon an even better matchup. We are all familiar with the maddening inconsistency of Gordon, but he does have at least 37 DraftKings points in three straight games. The numbers say this should be four, but again, it’s Gordon. You never know.

Dark Horses:

Thad Young ($5,500): Young continues to put up decent numbers in the absence of Markkanen and Carter. He put up 35 DraftKings points in the first meeting agianst the Pelicans. I don’t know if that happens here again, but Young is a decent mid-range pick. Just realize he’s not going to go much if any above 5x value.

Kyle Kuzma ($5,000): Kuzma is getting a little more run lately, but this is still a risky play. We almost need another blowout for Kuzma to have another strong game. It’s certainly possible agaisnt the Rockets, especially if Russ sits. However, if the Lakers do trade for Morris, Kuzma is likely going to be in the deal. Keep an eye on that.
