Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. player. Scouting Report. Oregon State. Isaiah Hodgins. 5. 30

It’s time to double dip at the receiver position for the Jets, especially with the lack of depth on the roster. They got Mims in the third, and they select Isaiah Hodgins in the fifth. If Hodgins ends up going at this spot, it’ll be a steal. He isn’t the greatest route-runner, but Hodgins is a threat in the red zone and has strong hands to win in contested spots and vertically down the field.

Linebacker. Francis Bernard. 6. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30. Utah

The Jets add a bit to the front seven here in Utah linebacker Francis Bernard. Bernard was another guy down at the Senior Bowl, and he put together a solid week. Although he isn’t the greatest athlete and won’t be able to recover with speed and quickness, Bernard is a great processor and is able to diagnose his run fits really well. Pairing him with Mosley would be a good idea this late in the draft.

Tight End. Stephen Sullivan. player. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LSU. 7

Why not take a chance on a good athlete in the seventh round? The Jets select Stephen Sullivan out of LSU with their last selection. Sullivan only caught 12 passes in 2019, but he looks the part of a receiving tight end who can get vertical in a hurry, and he has the size to high point the football.
