DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Nikola Jokic ($10,200): Jokic turned in another strong performance against Phoenix. He should be even better than that against San Antonio tonight. I see no reason to use KAT tonight at the price. Jokic should be better, and the Raptors are very tough on centers. Just ask Embiid.

Deandre Ayton ($9,300): Ayton put up 41 DraftKings points on the Lakers the first time around. The price is up there on Ayton, but he has had some monster games over the last fortnight. If Ayton is playing with no restrictions tonight, I would still consider him against the Lakers. That’s how good he’s been.

Honorable Mention:

Nikola Vucevic ($8,900): As his teammates have picked up the pace, Vucevic has as well. He was playing at a good level anyway, but now he’s up around 50 DraftKings points per game. He should hit that mark against the Hawks, who are still without their prize trade deadline pickup. That makes them thin at center, a situation that Vucevic can capitalize on.

Pascal Siakam ($8,100): Will the Raptors run Siakam at center with both Gasol and Ibaka out? If they do, I really like this. I also may use Towns now. There’s no way I would have earlier before both Ibaka and Gasol were ruled out.

Rudy Gobert ($7,800): Gobert tore up Dallas in the first meeting, and that was with Powell still healthy. Gobert hasn’t taken over up front. He has kind of faded back into the crowd lately with Mitchell getting back up to speed, but the price is reasonable on Gobert and the matchup is right.

Dark Horses:

Marquese Chriss ($5,800): The Warriors rewards Chriss’s strong play with a contract extension. He rewarded the Warriors with 45.25 DraftKings points against a good Lakers team. It looks like Chriss and Wiggins are the two main offensive threats for the Warriors right now and they are both priced nicely.

Dewayne Dedmon ($4,400): Dedmon’s re-return went well last night with 28.5 DraftKings points against the Knicks. I would expect Dedmon around the same output tonight. He’s not going to wow you with any of his numbers, but Dedmon will be a nice value for the price with Capela out. Damian Jones is no threat to his playing time.

Thon Maker ($4,300): Maker held his own against the Knicks, but his price is getting high enough that we need more than that. I expect a good game from Maker here against a weak Charlotte front, but we really have to look at the matchup before just throwing him out there now. Tonight is a good one, so Maker is a good value play.
