Carolina Panthers. Jeffrey Okudah. 7. player. 87. . Cornerback

The Carolina Panthers have a big decision to make this offseason in terms of the quarterback position, as Cam Newton’s health has been an issue in recent years. With a new head coach at the helm in Matt Rhule, they may decide to go in another direction, so it would not be surprising if they traded up to the No. 3 spot to get one of the premier quarterbacks in this draft class.

If they stay at No. 7, they can fill one of the bigger holes on their roster, bringing in the best cornerback prospect this draft class has to offer. Jeffrey Okudah has been listed as a top-5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but with the way this mock draft shakes out, he would be available to them at No. 7 overall.

Okudah is the kind of cornerback who can legitimately shut down one side of the field, and Ohio State has a reputation of producing some of the better cornerback prospects in all of college football. Carolina is going to be an interesting team to watch this offseason, as Rhule is going to want to put his stamp on the team in his first NFL gig as a head coach.

32. . Offensive Tackle. Arizona Cardinals. Jedrick Wills Jr.. 8. player

The Arizona Cardinals went with Kyler Murray as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he did not disappoint. Not only did he prove he could play quarterback at the NFL level despite his small stature, but he would go on to win the league’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, though many believed it should have went to Oakland running back Josh Jacobs.

Still, the Cardinals are in good hands with Murray, and with Larry Fitzgerald coming back for another season, he returns his top weapons. If the Cardinals are ever going to get the most out of Murray, however, they have to bolster the offensive line in front of him, and that starts with Jedrick Wills Jr. from Alabama at No. 8 overall.

This guy is an absolute mauler, and while Murray has the ability to escape pressure due to his athleticism, they have to get him more protection. Arizona needs Murray to hold up for years, and in Wills, they would be bringing in the guy who could protect Kyler’s blindside for the next ten seasons.
