The 2020 NFL Draft is a little over two months away, and with the No. 3 overall pick, the Detroit Lions may choose to replace cornerback Darius Slay.

With the Super Bowl firmly in the rearview mirror, and the attention turning to the new league year, the 2020 NFL Draft is on everybody’s mind. The Detroit Lions have been in the news recently, as they were rumored to be moving on from quarterback Matthew Stafford, but now the word is cornerback Darius Slay may be on the move.

Here is our latest 2020 NFL mock draft.

player. 56. . Quarterback. Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow. 1

The Cincinnati Bengals hold the No. 1 overall selection, and they are certainly going to be in the market for a new franchise quarterback. Andy Dalton has been rumored to be on the move, and for the Bengals, a fresh start with Burrow under center would be best-case scenario.

Burrow is an Ohio-native, and is fresh off one of the more spectacular seasons in college football history. Not only did he throw for 60 touchdowns, but he won the Heisman Trophy, led the LSU Tigers to an undefeated regular season, and then steamrolled through the College Football Playoff.

Wide receiver A.J. Green is entering free agency, and if the  team does go with a rookie quarterback, they may want to bring him back on a new deal. The Bengals are turning the page under second-year head coach Zac Taylor, who is going to want to bring in his new quarterback and get this rebuild started.

Chase Young. 2. player. 58. . Edge. Washington Commanders

The Ron Rivera Era as the Washington Redskins head coach is off to a blazing start, as he is cutting players left and right, including veteran cornerback Josh Norman. When Rivera got the job, you knew he was going to build the roster the way he wants it set up, and he is wasting no time getting settled into his new franchise.

Luckily for Rivera and the Redskins, they were beaten by the New York Giants late in the season, and have locked up the No. 2 overall pick. That means they have the inside track to getting the best overall player in the draft class in the person of Chase Young, an extremely talented edge rusher from Ohio State.

Young is arguably the best edge rush talent we have seen in recent drafts, which is saying a lot considering how great the Bosa brothers have been since coming into the league. Many at Ohio State feel Young is the best of the bunch, and with Rivera being a defensive genius, he will be landing in the right hands in our Nation’s Capital.
