4. WR Breshad Perriman (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

At times, it appeared that the only wide receiver on the field for the Packers was big-play performer Davante Adams. His numbers in 2019 were very impressive and his true impact on the offense was felt even more so when he was unable to play.

In 12 games this past season, the 2014 second-round pick from Fresno State finished with 83 receptions, good for 997 yards and five touchdowns. He was targeted 127 times in a dozen contests and that makes for easy math. Green Bay’s second-leading wideout in terms of catches was Allen Lazard. He saw 52 throws his way and pulled down 35 passes for 477 yards and three scores.

The depth chart also includes Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Jake Kumerow and Equanimeous St. Brown – the latter missing all of 2019 with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Geronimo Allison can test free agency in March.

So how about taking an economical chance on Breshad Perriman? He was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2015 but never saw the field that first season. He would go on to catch just 43 passes for three scores in 27 games with the club. Perriman eventually found success with quarterback James Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, catching 36 passes for 645 yards and six touchdowns – all career bests.
