DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Nikola Jokic ($9,800): Jokic dropped 70 DraftKings points on the Thunder in just 34 minutes in the first meeting. That was one of the more complete games Jokic has played this year. He likely wont do that again with Denver mostly at full healthy, but it certinaly shows what Jokic is capable of and why we keep paying for him.

Andre Drummond ($9,100): Drummond is even scoring as a member of the Cavs. It’s almost not fair. Actually, the only thing that makes this fair is that Cleveland is making it a point to still give minutes to Nance and Thompson. Otherwise Drummond would be leaving wrecked centers everywhere. He has yet to play 30 minutes in a game in a Cavs uniform. If the Cavs turn him loose, look out!

Honorable Mention:

Nikola Vucevic ($8,800): Vucevic looks cheap. Dallas is a mess up front and Vucevic put up 48.25 DraftKings points on Dallas the first time around and that was when Powell was healthy. Vuce went into the break with back-to-back 50+ DraftKings point games. Don’t be surprised if that streak remains intact.

Zion Williamson ($8,000): Whenever your name is mentioned along with Michael Jordan, youi’re doing something right. Zion is the first rookie since Jordan in 1984 to score 20 or more points in eight of his first ten games. Zion would have likely surpassed Jordan if the Pelicans hadn’t limited his minutes. Do you want to bet against him?

Serge Ibaka ($6,500): The only team that has held Ibaka under 40 DraftKIngs points with Gasol out is Brooklyn. Brooklyn. Of all the teams. If Ayton is out, Phoenix really has little to stop him. Baynes will play in some capacity, but I still don’t see him containing Ibaka.

Dark Horses:

Rui Hachimura ($5,100): Both Bertans and Rui have been getting good run up front with Bryant out, but Bertans isn’t putting up nearly the numbers that he did before the injury. Rui has been by far the more reliable piece here. Bertans has higher upside, but Rui is much safer.

Daniel Theis ($4,700): Actually, both Theis and Kanter are worth a look on the cheap against a Minnesota front that has very little behind Johnson. They traded most of their front line for Juancho, Beasley, and a pick. It’s fine if KAT Is healthy, but, yeah…. At any rate, both Boston centers are solid plays

James Johnson ($4,600): Johnson isn’t a traditional center, but Dieng is gone, so he’s next in line. Boston doesn’t really have dominant big man either, so Johnson should have no problems holding his own. He’s not much of a scorer, but he contributes in literally every category. 6x value is all but assured.
