DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Andrew Wiggins ($7,800): The poor shooting night on Sunday was a disappointment, but the fact that he still had 32.5 DraftKings points make me feel a little better. Wiggins has a high ceiling, but the floor is low for someone priced in this range. He’s a GPP dart at best and I certainly don’t trust him. However, with LeBron not eligible at SF anymore, it really weakens the position.

Gordon Hayward ($7,400): Who’s going to guard Hayward? Portland is weak at the forward spots even when fully healthy. This should be the two spots where Boston gains the most on Portland, so I think we could see big games from both Hayward and Tatum. They are the two Celtics that I’m highest on.

Honorable Mention:

T.J. Warren ($6,200): Warren’s hot streak was brought to an abrupt halt by the Raptors, but they are blowing through everyone right now. Warren gets a reprieve tonight against Charlotte. He has averaged a lofty 37.6 DraftKings points per game in the three tilts against Charlotte so far. Expect Warren to bounce back in a big way, especially since he has to help carry the load with Lamb out.

Will Barton ($5,500): The first meeting between Detroit and Denver was back on February 2. Barton put up 39.25 DraftKings points in that one. Detroit is weaker and Denver seems to be a little more defined in their rotations. Barton is capable of putting up big games. This looks like a spot for one of those.

Dark Horses:

Kent Bazemore ($4,300): Bazemore was thought to be someone who wouldn’t even crack the rotation. Now he’s playing close to 30 minutes per game and showing the promise he did as a member of the Hawks before being buried on Portland’s bench. Bazemore put up 43 DraftKings points on a tough Clippers team over the weekend in a game in which both Hield and Bogdan struggled. Don’t expect a rotational shift, but Bazemore is going to steal minutes somewhere from someone due to his strong play.

Juan Toscano ($4,100): Toscano put up yet another 30+ DraftKings point outburst proving that Friday wasn’t a fluke. The Warriors need the scoring and Toscano is going to force their hand very soon on a contract. This may be a short-lived run for him, but enjoy it while it lasts. The Warriors are going to keep feeding him minutes to see if he’s worth keeping around for the rest of the year.

Luguentz Dort ($3,300): The Thunder are letting the rookie start and play about half the game. That limits his upside, but at this price, we aren’t expecting miracles. Dort has 48.75 DraftKings points over the last two games. That may not sound like much, but that is 7x value. Take it where you can get it!
