Grant Delpit. 25. player. 60. . Safety. Minnesota Vikings

Last season, quarterback Kirk Cousins proved that he can win big games, as he went into New Orleans and won an overtime contest in the Wild Card round. This season, the fan base is going to want him to take the next step forward, and that will only happen if the team can  go out and get some more help on the defensive side of the ball.

The Minnesota Vikings continue the run on LSU Tigers at pick No. 25, bringing in the best safety in this draft class in Grant Delpit. The Vikings had their issues in the defensive backfield all season long, and while they could certainly go for a cornerback in this slot, Delpit may be too hard to pass up this late in round one.

There is enough talent on this Vikings team to win the NFC North next season, but they will have to go through a very  tough Green Bay Packers team once again. If the Vikings can get better on defense, they have a shot, but there is no way they beat the best in the NFC with the way they are currently constructed.

Miami Dolphins. Trevon Diggs. 26. player. 59. . Cornerback

The Miami Dolphins end their monster first round of the 2020 NFL Draft at pick No. 26, the selection they got by trading offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Houston Texans. With this pick, the Dolphins continue to focus on the defensive side of the ball, adding a premier cornerback in Trevon Diggs from Alabama.

Diggs, the younger brother of Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Stefon, is a fantastic athlete, and someone the Dolphins can build their defensive backfield around. Remember, they traded away Minkah Fitzpatrick during the 2019 season, so there is a need there, and they can fill it with one of the better corners in this class.

Miami is a team to really keep an eye on next season, as they played tough football all season long in 2019 against some pretty steep odds. Head coach Brian Flores has got the attention of the NFL, and had the team won a few more games last season, he may have ran away with the league’s Head Coach of the Year honors.
