DraftKings NBA centers:

Best Bets:

Joel Embiid ($10,500): Embiid had a career night against the Hawks and could do the same to Cleveland. The offense ran through him with Simmons out. That should be the narrative over the next couple weeks. Embiid doubled down on his best player proclamation on Monday. He’s going to keep proving it. I don’t think we can fade him here.

Nikola Vucevic ($9,500): I’m not going to use Vucevic because I’m still pissed at him about Monday. Then I look at what Embiid just did to Atlanta. Vucevic wont do that in no small part because of what Gordon is doing. Both are going to have good nights, but I have a hard time believing that Vucevic hits value at this price.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($9,000): Bam had a huge night against the Cavs. That’s not going to happen agains, especially with Butler back, but I do think that Bam takes full advantage of the absence of Towns. Whether that means 45 or 60 DraftKings points, I don’t know. At any rate, he should hit 5x value.

Kristaps Porzingis ($8,300): Porzingis was a dud agianst Minnesota, but he only played 25 minutes. If Dallas is going to keep limiting Porzingis, it’s going to be tough for us DFS people. This is another very favorable matchup for Porzingis, but I don’t know that we can trust him at this price.

Dark Horses:

Jarrett Allen ($5,300): Well, it appears as though the pendulum is back to Allen. He has 77 DraftKings points over the last two games and another cake matchup with the Wizards tonight. Allen has only missed one shot from the floor over those two games and hauled down double-doubles in just 25 and 26 minutes. Allen appears to be the safe Net for now.

Mitch Robinson ($5,100): Robinson has 67 DraftKings points in two games against Charlotte so far despite only averaging 26 minutes per game. Well, that’s a good thing since the Knicks are still only playing Robinson about 26 minutes anyway. Robinson could dominate if they let him, but he wont. Instead we have to settle for a sure 5x vlaue.

Jakob Poeltl ($3,200): The Spurs haven’t even turned Poeltl loose when LMA has sat, but he does see more minutes. This is actually a pretty good matchup for him. Don’t expect a miracle, but at a price this low, you don’t need one either.
