DraftKings NBA picks February 27: Beware of Brow

It’s our lightest night since the break with only four games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. The Association is setting it up for big Fridays again. I understand I guess, but I much prefer the balances six to nine game slates than four one day and 12 another. Oh well. We all know they don’t care what we think.

There’s still talent on this slate with the Lakers, Thunder, and Sixers, but Philly is on a back to back. We have to keep an eye on that. Here’s what else we need to keep an eye on.

Out: LeBron James (groin), Joel Embiid (shoulder), Damian Lillard (groin), Ben Simmons (back), Steph Curry (hand), Marvin Bagley (foot), Richaun Holmes (shoulder), Jeremy Lamb (knee), Frank Ntilikina (groin), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Zach Collins (shoulder), Andre Roberson (knee), Darius Bazley (knee), Klay Thompson (knee).

Questionable: Victor Oladipo (back), Edmond Sumner (hip).

This is a simple report. Only Okadipo’s status could affect our builds. The Warriors expect Draymond to play, which is going to shake up the rotation a little bit. Watch Elfrid closely since he just returned last night and the Knicks also play a back to back.

I had Embiid in all four lineups, but one managed to sneak across the cash line thanks to Luka, LeVert, and Gordon. This lineup would have been a monster with 50 from Embiid. It’s nights like last night that remind me why I truly hate DFS as much as I love it.

topdogisme3 didn’t just get the takedown with 367.5 DraftKings points, he also took second place! He built with Luka, DDR, LeVert, and Mitchell and got nice value out of Bismack, Fournier, Tristan, and Saric. His second lineup only had Westbrook over Luka.

On a small slate such as this, I’m not actually helping you if I write up my normal number of plays. Some of the ones on here are my cautions for avoiding them more than recommending them as a play. I feel this helps both of us a little more.
