DraftKings NBA picks February 28: Whack em with Siakam

We have a big ten game DraftKings NBA slate since the NBA went light on Thursday. It’s not as big and intimidating as it sounds since only four players are priced in five figures and one of them is out with an injury. Let’s see who else is joining him.

Out: Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist), Kyrie Irving (shoulder), John Wall (Achilles), Kelly Oubre (knee), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Andre Drummond (calf), Clint Capela (heel), Marvin Bagley (foot), Richaun Holmes (shoulder), Jaren Jackson (knee), Brandon Clarke (quad), Luke Kennard (knee), Malik Monk (drugs, man), Jalen Brunson (shoulder), Dewayne Dedmon (elbow), Justise Winslow (back), Tyler Herro (foot), Willie Cauley-Stein (personal), Dante Exum (ankle), Dewan Hernandez (ankle), Meyers Leonard (ankle), Dwight Powell (Achilles), Bol Bol (foot), Andre Roberson (knee), Darius Bazley (knee), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Evan Turner (buyout), Allen Crabbe (personal), Darius Miller (Achilles), Kenrich Williams (back), Alfonzo McKinnie (heel), Dylan Windler (leg), Frank Kaminsky (knee), Blake Griffin (knee), Grayson Allen (hip), Deandre Bembry (abdomen), Skal Labissiere (knee), Kevin Durant (Achilles).

Questionable: Luka Doncic (thumb), Trae Young (illness), De’Aaron Fox (abdomen), Serge Ibaka (knee), Bruce Brown (knee), Norman Powell (finger), Marc Gasol (hamstring), Kyle Korver (back), Damian Jones (illness).

The Raptors could get Powell back, and there may not be limits considering that he could keep up his conditioning while injured. My only question is whether the Raptors want to mess with a rotation that is really playing well right now.

My balanced lineup was the one that did the best. Putting Davis in the other three was not the way to go, but Sixers/Lakers value kept the night from being a total bust.

minipeanuts took it down with a modest 343 DraftKings points. I wasn’t that far off of that. He built with a Knicks/Sixers stack with Rondo and Whiteside. That was the recipe for a takedown.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
