2. Andrus Peat, Guard

Los Angeles went through a revolving door of interior offensive linemen last year. They were even forced to work a trade with the Cleveland Browns for Austin Corbett who was unable to crack Cleveland’s starting lineup.

The fact that Los Angeles was forced to use Corbett showed the problems they had at the position.

Heading into the offseason the Rams also face the possibility of losing starter Austin Blythe via free agency. They need to focus some of their resources on upgrading the guard position. One option would be Andrus Peat.

This addition would provide the Rams with a proven starter who is still only 26-years old. Peat has had his share of struggles but has really started to show some promise over the past few years. His addition would serve as a major upgrade at one of the guard spots.

It’s possible the Ram look to add multiple guards during the offseason. However, they do have former 3rd round pick, Joseph Noteboom, looking for an opportunity to earn a starting job.

Fixing the offensive line is a key to the Rams’ playoff hopes. Jared Goff didn’t respond well last year when dealing with pressure. This was especially true when that pressure came from the middle of the field.
