DraftKings NBA picks February 29: A.D.’s going for 80

We have a busy eight game Saturday right after a busy DraftKings NBA Friday. There’s going to be some tired legs out there, so watch out for resting players. The Bulls and Knicks tip off earlier than everyone else, so the main DraftKings NBA slate is seven games. The early tip doesn’t hurt us. We wouldn’t be using much from that game anyway. We do have some injury news to sort through for the main DraftKings NBA slate though. Let’s cover that first.

Questionable: LeBron James (groin), Jordan Poole (ankle), Eric Gordon (knee), Edmond Sumner (hip).

The LeBron news doesn’t matter much to me. I wasn’t going to use him anyway. He has only averaged 44.6 DraftKings points per game in the three prior games against the Grizzlies this year. Poole did return to Thursday’s game, so I’m thinking he’ll be good to go.

The game stack of Minnesota-Orlando was my best lineup. I also had two lineups that barely cleared 300 even with Chris Boucher. I have to wonder what could have been again.

shane76 took it down with a solid 357.5 DraftKings points. He built with Beal, Wood, and Lonzo and got his value from Beastley, Favors, Juancho, Duncan Robinson, and a huge game from Ross.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
