DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($10,500): The Beard did Beard-like things against the Knicks in the first meeting, putting up 61 DraftKings points in that one. However, he only played 34 minutes and that game was played without Westbrook. That’s a lot to consider. The Knicks were able to hang around with the Rockets in that one. Considering that game was only a week ago, that should happen again. That bodes well for Harden’s value tonight.

CJ McCollum ($9,300): CJ put up 50 DraftKings points on the Magic earlier this year and that was with Lillard in the lineup. Only Indiana held CJ under 50 with Lillard out and he still came very close to 5x value in that one. CJ is one of my favorites on the entire slate tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Donovan Mitchell ($7,900): Utah hasn’t played all that well lately, but you can’t blame Mitchell for that. He has at least 42 DraftKings points in four straight and has a very favorable matchup with the Cavs tonight. We never really know what we’re getting out of Utah, but Mitchell seems to be a sure thing right now.

Seth Curry ($6,100): I know, I have the same reservations about paying this much for Curry as you have. However, Curry has logged big minutes with Brunson out, and he’ll keep getting them with performances like this. Curry has 83.25 DraftKings points over the last two games and a solid matchup against the Bulls. Having Luka back will cut into this somewhat, but Curry looks like a lock for 30 DraftKings points right now. He has only missed eight of 32 shots in the last two games.

Dark Horses:

RJ Barrett ($5,400): Barrett put up 32.5 DraftKings points on the Rockets in the first meeting. The Knicks are one of those teams that match up fairly well with their diminutive size right now. Barrett is a strong play here, though I don’t understand what he isn’t more active in the offense. That said, there isn’t much I understand about the Knicks.

Dillon Brooks ($5,300): Brooks went through a rough patch just after the break, but he has 98.5 DraftKings points over the last three games and a great matchup with the Hawks. Brooks is a streaky shooter. You have to play him while he’s hot. Considering he has at least 20 real points in each of the last three games, this seems like one of those times.

Eric Gordon ($3,800): Gordon has high upside because he’s in there to shoot. He has a low floor for the same reason. Gordon doesn’t do much else at this stage in his career. His minutes are consistently in the high 20’s, but if his shot isn’t falling, we have no chance at squeezing value out of him.
