2. Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard looked like a standout player in the backfield for the Chicago Bears. Then, they traded him for a sixth-round pick, and things went downhill from there.

He wasn’t very good for the Philadelphia Eagles and couldn’t stay on the field. He only played 10 games last season, after missing one game in Chicago prior to 2019.

What’s worse, he only put up a little over 500 yards on the season. He had a couple of fine games, but he never did better than 100 yards in a game. He’s going to come at a discounted price, and his upside is that of a top-10 running back. He will come for a little more than the minimum.

The Seahawks have Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny, but adding Howard to the backfield would provide both another quality back and a contingency plan when someone gets hurt. Howard has proven he’s able to carry the load in the past, and while his only year in Philadelphia didn’t produce great results, we’ve seen many backs recover from a downturn in production.
