The 2020 West Coast Conference Tournament printable bracket is live so make your picks to see who will win the WCC crown in Las Vegas.

The WCC runs through Gonzaga but the conference is much deeper this year. The Bulldogs are still a dominant force well on its way to a spot on the top line in March Madness but could be joined in the tournament by at least two other WCC teams.

The other surefire lock from the WCC is BYU, which has surged into postseason play as the No. 2 seed on the strength of a nine-game winning streak. The Cougars are an elite offensive team led by forward Yoeli Childs, who averages 22.2 points per game and 8.9 rebounds. Guards T.J. Haws and Jake Toolson give BYU as dangerous a scoring trio as any team in the country.

The other potential tournament team in the WCC is Saint Mary’s, which drew the No. 3 seed and will have to play one extra game to reach the semifinal round. The Gaels do have a star in Jordan Ford and own wins over BYU, Arizona State and Wisconsin on their resume but there are simply too many losses to make it a slam dunk for Saint Mary’s to reach March Madness.

The WCC bracket is uniquely structured to put more of an emphasis on the top seeds having an easier path to the conference’s automatic bid. Gonzaga and BYU, the top two seeds, have byes directly into the semifinals.

The first round begins on Thursday, March 5, when Loyola Marymount takes on San Diego in the 8-9 matchup while Santa Clara and Portland square off in the 7-10 game. Those winners advance to take on San Francisco and Pepperdine, respectively, in the second round.

Assuming chalk holds, San Francisco would take on Pacific for the right to face Gonzaga in the semifinals. Pepperdine would face Saint Mary’s, with that game holding massive importance for the Gaels. A loss there could deal serious damage to Saint Mary’s at large chances, with the Gaels needing at least a third shot at BYU to feel good about their chances on Selection Sunday.
