DraftKings NBA picks March 4: Always look on the Whiteside of life

We have a larger nine game slate for our DraftKings NBA tournaments tonight. The big news is that Dame is coming back. That means CJ is back to being mortal and neither are worth the price. Who is? Where’s the value? We’ll cover that right after we get to the rest of the guys that are still out.

Out: Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist), Zach LaVine (quad), Kyrie Irving (shoulder), Andre Drummond (calf), John Wall (Achilles), Derrick Rose (ankle), Jonathan Isaac (knee), Jaren Jackson (knee), Luke Kennard (knee), Bruce Brown (knee), Brandon Clarke (quad), Jeremy Lamb (knee), Jalen Brunson (shoulder), Darius Garland (groin), Justise Winslow (back), Kris Dunn (knee), Dennis Smith (concussion), J.J. Redick (hamstring), Tyler Herro (foot), Luke Kornet (ankle), Evan Turner (f- the Timberwolves….that’s why), Meyers Leonard (ankle), Al-Farouq Aminu (knee), Rodney Hood (Achilles), Jusuf Nurkic (leg), Zach Collins (shoulder), Kevin Durant (Achilles), Grayson Allen (hip), Alfonzo McKinnie (heel), Dante Exum (ankle), Dylan Windler (leg), Blake Griffin (knee), Andre Roberson (knee), Darius Bazley (knee), Dwight Powell (Achilles), Darius Miller (Achilles), Kenrich Williams (back).

Questionable: Jayson Tatum (illness), Aaron Gordon (knee), Jaylen Brown (hamstring), Gordon Hayward (knee), Tristan Thompson (knee), Seth Curry (back), Mitch Robinson (hamstring), Victor Oladipo (knee), Lauri Markkanen (pelvis), Brandon Knight (quad), Chandler Hutchison (shoulder), Kevin Knox (leg), Gary Clark (knee), Kyle Korver (back).

Markkanen is expected to play, but as awful as he was when he was “healthy,” there’s no way I would use him in his first game back. Maybe he dealt with this issue all year. Maybe not. I’m not paying to find out.

A big night from A.D. took me out of the cash with three of my lineups in the last four minutes of that game. I had no LeVert, and no Beastley in my Minnesota-Pelicans stack. Ouch.

prunejuice13 didn’t just get the takedown with 382.25 DraftKings points, but also took the second, third, and fourth place spots. Fifth place was 29.75 DraftKings points out of first! prunejuice really cleaned house, running LeVert, Zion, Lonzo, and A.D. in all four lineups and surrounding them with Big Dog III, Bogdan, Bryant, Naz, and the like.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
