2. Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

Although the Broncos do covet Henry Ruggs III from Alabama, this is a deep class of receivers and Ruggs, quite frankly, might not be there at No. 15 overall.

If the Broncos go with another position besides receiver in the first round, it would make a ton of sense for them to go after the explosive Jalen Reagor in round two.

Reagor ran a somewhat disappointing 4.47 in the 40-yard dash after it was expected based on his tape that he would time somewhere in the low 4.3 range, but Reagor is an explosive vertical threat at receiver nonetheless.

The Broncos have a budding superstar in Courtland Sutton on one side of the field and last year’s first-round pick Noah Fant busting the seam at tight end, but a true deep threat with speed at receiver is still desperately needed.

Although Reagor has some development to do, he can immediately come in and provide the Broncos with a physical receiver who is also great after the catch and as a punt returner.

Interestingly enough, Reagor’s father — defensive lineman Montae Reagor — was drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft as well.

Montae’s son could fill Denver’s need for a vertical threat on offense 21 years later.
