DraftKings NBA picks March 11: Pay up for centers

We have a solid six game slate for our DraftKings NBA tournaments tonight. Dallas and the Knicks are on the tail end of back to back sets. Keep an eye on the status of Luka, who was questionable leading up to tipoff last night. We have some others to keep an eye on tonight as well.

Out: Ben Simmons (back), Clint Capela (heel), Marvin Bagley (foot), Derrick Rose (ankle), Seth Curry (ankle), Malik Monk (I don’t like the drugs but the drugs like me), Luke Kennard (knee), Jalen Brunson (shoulder), John Henson (ankle), J.J. Redick (hamstring), Deandre Bembry (abdomen), Meyers Leonard (ankle), Andre Roberson (knee), Darius Bazley (knee), Darius Miller (Achilles), Nickeil Alexander-Walker (wrist), Blake Griffin (knee), Dwight Powell (Achilles), Bol Bol (foot), Skal Labissiere (knee).

Questionable: Joel Embiid (shoulder), Jimmy Butler (toe), Mitch Robinson (illness), Bruce Brown (ankle), Kendrick Nunn (illness), Tyler Herro (foot), Udonis Haslem (illness), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (illness), Willie Cauley-Stein (illness), Treveon Graham (personal).

My gut feeling is they rest Embiid. They don’t need him against Detroit and the Sixers don’t play again until Saturday. That gives Embiid a lot of rest. However, for that same reason, they could choose to use him. If Herro is in, I’m completely off of Duncan Robinson. I probably should be anyway.

Only one of my lineups cashed last night. I was heavy on Westbrook and Drummond on a night when you couldn’t really afford to miss. Randle was a bust. So were all the Suns besides Saric and Booker. Jerome Robinson really ruined my night.

integra91ah took it down with a modest 347.75 DraftKings points, which was 10.25 points ahead of second place. He built with Beal, Hayward, LMA, and DDR and got big value out of Shaq Harrison, Derrick White, Barrett, and Bryant.

Just because you don’t see someone on here doesn’t mean they aren’t a good play. I only have so much room, and I’m not going anyone a favor if I recommend more than half of the players at a position. If you have a feeling about someone, by all means, follow that. I mostly follow numbers and trends.
