Best Bets:

Nikola Jokic ($9,700): Even if Embiid is in, I wont use him. That leaves Jokic as the best optin. He has 101.5 DraftKings points in the first two games against Dallas. That’s a solid return, but I don’t know. It still feels like a disappointment because we all know what Jokic is capable of. There’s enough upside here to use him in what should be a close game.

Bam Adebayo ($9,000): Bam has 93.5 DraftKings points in the first two games against the Hornets. Charlotte’s defense has been much better lately, but the centers are still the sore spot. If Butler misses this game, it should mean more of a role in the offense for Whiteside. Jokic may have a little higher upside, but I see Bam as more reliable against the Hornets.

Honorable Mention:

Zion Williamson ($7,800): Zion has slowed down and Miami actually held him under 20 real points. Zion hasn’t reached 40 DraftKings points in over a week now. I don’t know that he’s hit a wall, but he hasn’t been doing what he was. Still, Zion has not had what I would call a bad game yet and he wont against the Kings either. This is a strong spot for Zion, but I don’t know what the upside is right now.

Al Horford ($7,400): Horford has been a very consistent play with Embiid out. If Embiid returns, I’m not using Horford. Actually, if Embiid returns, the only Sixer I really like is Shake. Harris would be worth a look, but not a priority. Horford would be an afterthought. If Embiid is out though, fire up Horford.

Dark Horses:

Mitch Robinson ($5,700): I hate the Knicks’ coaching staff. I really do. These wacky rotations playing for ping pong balls are annoying. I wont play Robinson and I may not play any Knicks because of it. I do feel that Robinson is worth mentioning though because he has been outstanding agaisnt the Hawks this year. Robinson has 87.5 DraftKings points in 64 minutes against Atlanta this year. It’s so tempting to run him.

Dewayne Dedmon ($4,700): I don’t trust anything in the Kings’ rotation up front with Holmes back in the mix and not playing full minutes. I’ll roll Dedmon agianst the Knicks. Portis is tempting, but every time I play him he scores single digits. Dedmon at least gets enough playing time to hit value. Charlotte and Sacramento are just crapshoots right now. Right up there with the Knicks.
