2. New Orleans Saints

Who says you can’t go home? Graham had most of his best years with the Saints, posting double-digit touchdowns three times (nine or more touchdowns four times) and earning three Pro Bowl nods in five seasons (2010-14). From 2011-14, he averaged nearly 89 receptions, 1,100 yards and 11.5 touchdowns per season.

Tight end does not look like a dire need for New Orleans, as Jared Cook averaged a robust 16.4 yards per catch last year and was very good after Drew Brees returned from a thumb injury. The Saints also don’t have the cap space to make notable moves right now, but cutting linebacker Kiko Alonso and cornerback Janoris Jenkins would clear a little over $19 million with little in dead money to absorb.

Brees is coming back, perhaps for just one more season as the Saints’ quarterback. So they should be loading up with an eye on a Super Bowl run, with all angles to add supplementary pieces explored. Graham would seem to fit that idea nicely. A reunion with Brees and Sean Payton should be something that’s already on the radar for both sides.
