1. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders had a bottom-tier pass defense across the board last season, so they need home help in the secondary. They will surely be in the mix to sign Byron Jones or Chris Harris Jr. at the top of the market, but adding another corner or two has to be on the radar. A big corner like Rhodes (6-foot-1, 218 pounds) looks like a fit.

2. Houston Texans

The Texans are letting Jonathan Joseph hit the market as a free agent with no intent to bring him back, and there’s a chance they lose Bradley Roby on the open market. In terms of depth, Gareon Conley will be back and Vernon Hargreaves has already been released.

The Texans are a top rumored suitor for Chris Harris, and there’s a clear fit there. But Houston stands to need a couple other bodies at cornerback, and Rhodes would surely help.

3. Miami Dolphins

Miami has the most cap space in the league, and plenty of holes to fill as the rebuild enters a second season under head coach Brian Flores. Cornerback is a need area, and Logan Ryan may be on the radar due in part to a past Patriots’ tie with Flores. But even if a viable guy opposite Xavien Howard is found, you can never have enough corners. And in a certain light, with imagination in mind, Rhodes could be shifted to safety some to help fill the void left by the release of Reshad Jones.
