Baltimore Ravens

1. Maliek Collins
2. Markus Golden
3. Nick Kwiatkowski

Entering the new league year with around $31m in cap space, the Ravens will have to be shrewder about how they go about their business in free agency.

Matthew Judon is still a potential trade candidate even after being franchise tagged. Michael Pierce and Patrick Onwuasor are among those set for free agency, putting restocking the front seven high on Baltimore’s to-do list.

Collins has developed into an underrated interior pass rusher while Golden could prove an astute under-the-radar signing.

The former Arizona Cardinal had 10 sacks last season for the New York Giants and is a strong fit for the Ravens defense as a stand-up rusher off the edge.

Nick Kwiatkowski’s playmaking ability was apparent when he stepped into the breach off the bench for the Chicago Bears and served as a bright spot in a mediocre 2019. A season in which he made eight starts, intercepted a pass, forced a fumble and had three sacks indicated he could thrive for a defense willing to give him a full-time role.

The Ravens will go as far as reigning MVP Lamar Jackson takes them. Still, their hopes of rebounding from the Divisional Round loss to the Tennessee Titans will only be bolstered if they can find reasonably priced defensive reinforcements.
