NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Tankathon sim gives Knicks No. 1 overall pick

Obi Toppin has been one of the best players in college basketball, a surefire finalist for National Player of the Year, among other awards. He is the best player on the best offense in college basketball, which runs an NBA system. Toppin possesses elite burst for his size and is a career 41.7 percent 3-point shooter in college, though on limited attempts.
At 6-foot-9 with a 6-foot-11 wingspan, Toppin may fit best as a small-ball center but he may not rebound well enough and play more 4 in his career. He projects as a good offensive player and could provide the Golden State Warriors with another big that can stretch the floor, while also playing with force inside when needed. Defense is the biggest concern, but he should be fine if he’s not deployed as an anchor.
