NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Tankathon sim gives Knicks No. 1 overall pick

Maledon makes for an interesting fit with Lonzo Ball, as they can both play on or off the ball, much like Jrue Holiday and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. This would make for a versatile New Orleans backcourt around Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram. Maledon isn’t the most athletic but is a smooth playmaker with a shot that should keep improving. At only 18 years old, he’s shown to be pretty solid in pick-and-roll. He struggles to get his own shot, but that might not be a killer around scorers like the Pelicans’ starting forwards.
