3. Quarterback

Titans fans, calm down. Before you lose your minds, think for a moment.

The Titans re-signed Ryan Tannehill to a four-year extension, which tells us the team is trying to plan long-term around the 31-year-old. But let’s not forget his play for years in Miami. Yes, he did have a tremendous ending to the 2019 campaign, but this coming season will reveal whether the Texas A&M standout was worth the money.

It’s unlikely the team will make a big-money move to back up Tannehill after Marcus Mariota left for the Las Vegas Raiders. However, drafting a quarterback in the middle rounds might be a smart move. If Jake Fromm of Georgia is there in the late-second or early-third round, why not take a chance on developing either a quality backup or eventual starter?

Regardless, the Titans will need a viable backup if the magic wears off on Tannehill.
