2020 NFL Draft: San Francisco 49ers 7-round mock
By John Buhler
Sixth Round
Garoppolo needs more weapons to work with. Though they drafted Ruggs out of Alabama with their No. 13 overall pick in this mock draft, no, the 49ers will not be done addressing the wide receiver position in this draft. Look for them to take Aaron Fuller out of the University of Washington with the No. 210 pick in the sixth round to add some more receiving depth.
Seventh Round
San Francisco has a pair of seventh-round picks this year. The first one at No. 217 comes from the Detroit Lions in a deal for linebacker Eli Harold. Though Garoppolo is the long-term starter, look for the 49ers to take a signal-caller like Nate Stanley out of the University of Iowa with their first of two seventh-round selections.
San Francisco could look to address either tight end or depth along the defensive line with their No. 245 pick in the seventh round. Since Lynch seems to really know what he’s doing in drafting defensive linemen, look for him to land someone like McTelvin Agim out of the University of Arkansas with their last pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Overall, it’s hard to get really fired up about what the 49ers plan to do in the draft. As said before, they have to nail their first two picks. If they can get a cornerback, an offensive tackle and a wide receiver with two of their first three picks, that’s about all you can hope for on Lynch’s end. The 49ers can surely add depth on day three, but crushing it on day one is an absolute priority now.
