The NFC North has been run by one team for most of the decade. Despite that, there is plenty of talent at each position to draft this fantasy football season.

The NFC North has been labeled one of the toughest divisions to play in, mostly because of the defenses on the field. For fantasy football owners, that usually means not a lot of points being scored. However, with the talent in the division, that hasn’t been the case.

The Bears added a veteran backup quarterback to create some competition and a veteran tight end to give the quarterback another weapon. The Lions kept their offense the same while adding some big pieces on defense.

The Packers re-signed their veteran tight end and added a reliable wide receiver. The Vikings traded away their best wide receiver to the Bills. They did add depth to the running back and wide receiver positions, but they won’t move the needle for fantasy football.

Looking ahead, this will be a one-team race for the division. But for fantasy, there are valuable players worth drafting from each team. Whether it’s a top-10 quarterback, a top-five running back or a sleeper wide receiver, you can build a team through this division.

I will be doing a piece for all eight divisions, leading up to (hopefully) week 1 of the 2020 fantasy football season. I will break down the offensive depth charts, let you know which players are worth drafting and which ones you should avoid. I will also include a player I see breaking out due to the moves made this offseason.

Based on your league’s settings, each owner values a player differently. A 2QB league will boost the value of quarterbacks more than a 1QB league will. The same can be said for leagues with multiple flex spots or a super-utility spot.

So, without further ado, here is my 2020 fantasy football breakdown of the NFC North, starting with the Chicago Bears.
