Yetur Gross-Matos

The Penn State product is 6-foot-6, 266 pounds of pure pass-rusher. Yetur Gross-Matos can get into the backfield, having 35 tackles for loss total in the past two seasons alongside 17.5 sacks. This is one of the best pass rushers in the draft with a massive frame and clear upside.

Gross-Matos is comfortable in both the three-point stance and standing up over the line. That kind of versatility goes perfectly in a Bill Belichick scheme. The former four-star recruit has the skill to be a Pro Bowler at the position, and could become one of those pass rushers that teams salivate over.

So, with all this skill, how could he fall this far? Looking at tape, he sometimes plays himself out of the action. He can be inconsistent. Yet the skills are certainly there, even if Gross-Matos needs to be coached up possibly more than any other first-round pick.

Belichick is missing a lot of pass-rushing ability with Collins and Van Noy gone. Now, he can get a player who has the upside to surpass both of their ceilings. Gross-Matos has work to do, but under the tutelage of Belichick, he could excel.
