Wondering if there’s a brand new episode of Supernatural’s final season airing on The CW tonight, March 30? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Hollywood has taken a severe hit, and many productions have been affected by the efforts put forth to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Several movies have been delayed, and certain TV shows have had to hold off on things due to certain factors. Of all the series that have been derailed, the one that may hit fans the hardest will be when the next episode of the final season of Supernatural airs.

Fans of the long-running series starring Jenson Ackles and Jared Padalecki will have to wait a bit longer to finish off the Supernatural farewell tour. The series has filmed through to the 18th episode of the 20-episode final run. But the post-production facilities for visual effects and sound, something the series is known for excelling at, have been shut down in response to the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19.

More from Television

Starting on Monday, March 30, episodes of Supernatural will be replaced with an original installment of the comedy series Whose Line is it Anyway at 8 p.m., followed by a replay of the hilarious improv program at 8:30 p.m. At this time it is unknown when the dark fantasy series will air new chapters.

For those concerned that this may mean the last iterations of this season will be lost for all eternity, fear not. Warner Bros. TV has already pledged its commitment to the Winchester brothers and will not be giving up on The CW show. While it is a bummer that fans have to wait to finish the series they’ve dedicated many years to wrap things up, it is nice to see the production taking the appropriate actions during these troubled times.
