2. 30. Pick Analysis. AFC. East. New York Jets. player. Scouting Report

Belichick may hate the Browns the most, but the New York Jets are a close second. They have been No. 2 their entire life…in New York. Even though Belichick was on Bill Parcells’ staff, he got out of that head coaching position dropped on him faster than Mo Lewis sacked Drew Bledsoe. You could pay Belichick a trillion dollars annually to coach the Jets and it still wouldn’t be enough.

Joe Douglas may know what he’s doing as a general manager, but apparently all Mike Maccagnan knew how to do before him was order cups of coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts. When you see the Jets’ recent draft history after the first round, you feel like you’re being blackmailed by being forced to look at something so grotesque. They picked Christian Hackenberg a spot above Deion Jones!

There are people with dreams and people who go places in life. And then there’s the Jets. This is the franchise that gave the world “The Butt Fumble.” Of all the touchdowns any Patriots player has ever scored under Belichick, Steve Gregory‘s scamper to pay dirt on Thanksgiving Day 2012 has to be his absolute favorite. It is the sweet, delicious gift that keeps on giving. It broke Mark Sanchez.

For Belichick, it’s not a matter of if, but a matter of want. If he really wanted to, he could take the Jets to an AFC Championship game, but we know how those games typically go for Gang Green. Put that title bout in Denver and Belichick has no chance, just like there is no chance he will ever coach a nanosecond for the Jets as long as he has a breath left in his body. Bring on the pettiness!
