The Tennessee Titans continue to trend upward, so how will the team approach the 2020 NFL Draft with an eye on a potential Super Bowl berth?

If you’re reading this, Derrick Henry just ran over your pathetic tackle attempt.

Not many people could have predicted some of the feats that the Tennessee Titans accomplished last season. In fact, if you had told someone that the Titans would play for an AFC title after beating the New England Patriots on the road with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, there’s a good chance you would’ve been arrested on the spot.

But truth is stranger than fiction, and now the Titans find themselves entering the 2020 NFL Draft with a bright future and freshly-signed new franchise quarterback. Whether you think Tannehill was worthy of his hefty price tag, general manager Jon Robinson will still need to surround his quarterback with enough supplemental talent to keep the team’s Super Bowl window open as long as possible.

Superstar running back Derrick Henry still remains without a long-term extension, and rumors continue to swirl around the team potentially recruiting former Seahawk Jadeveon Clowney to the Titans. What does all this mean for the team’s upcoming draft plans? It’s time to find out with this expert analysis from your favorite mock drafter’s least-favorite mock drafter.

1st round

The Titans got an absolute steal in last year’s second-rounder A.J. Brown, but they’d be wise to add another big play threat for Ryan Tannehill early in the 2020 NFL Draft.

TCU’s Jalen Reagor is one of my absolute favorite prospects in this draft class and could form quite the duo on the outside with the aforementioned Brown. Reagor has blazing speed and likely would have been far more productive in his final season with the Horned Frogs had it not been for inconsistent quarterback play.

The Titans will likely consider a cornerback or edge rusher here, but many of the top options figure to be off the board at this point in the first round. Instead, they add another explosive playmaker in Reagor who could wind up as the best receiver from the class by the time all is said and done.
