Dallas Cowboys 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds
By Conor Dorney
Another player I mocked to the Cowboys in my prior mock, the only difference being that he’s off the board one round earlier.
Outside of the first round, many of the offensive linemen who come off the board will require a lot of projection or a position switch. Kansas’ Hakeem Adeniji is one of my favorite round two/three prospects whose four years of starting experience at left tackle and strength in pass protection give him the chance to be a really good pro.
Moving him inside to guard could mitigate some of his struggles against speed on the edge but he’s plenty athletic enough to play tackle, probably on the right side, in a pinch.
Adeniji is one of those players who grows on you the more you watch his tape and I think his overall consistency should land him inside the top 100 picks on draft day.
