This Wednesday, the Outlaw Tour presents the Draftkings community with the third round of the Arrowhead Classic!

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections I want to clearly emphasize that this article is focused on the third round showdown contest. The single round showdown contest offered by Draftkings is vastly different with regard to scoring than the traditional classic contest that Draftkings currently offers for golf.

For those readers that are not aware, the classic contest offered by Draftkings focuses on an entire golf tournament. In direct contrast to the classic contest, the showdown contest focuses on only one round. This article is specifically focused on the third round of the Arrowhead Classic.

Here are my player selections for the third round of the Arrowhead Classic.

Nick Mason $10,300

The 37 year old American fired a third round 66 in last week’s Orange Tree Classic. Mason’s quality third round performance propelled him to a solo third place finish at last week’s event. Turning our attention to this week’s Arrowhead Classic, Mason has certainly played well in the opening two rounds. Let me be more specific. Through two rounds of play at the Arrowhead Classic, Nick Mason has compiled a cumulative score of 10 under par. Mason leads the entire field with 13 birdies through two rounds.

Riley Wheeldon $10,000

Wheeldon arrived at this week’s event on the heels of four top nine finishes in his last five tournaments on the Outlaw Tour. Although Wheeldon only has a score of one under par through two rounds at the Arrowhead Classic, I fully expect that he will bounce back in round three.

Kyle Slattery $8,900

Slattery has played outstanding over the first rounds of the Arrowhead Classic. He has a two round score of 11 under par, which includes 11 birdies and two eagles! Slattery also finished 14th at last week’s Orange Tree Classic.

Yannik Paul $8,600

Paul arrived at this week’s event in very good form. Let’s take at look at a few of his recent result’s on the Outlaw Tour. Paul finished eighth at the Moon Valley Classic in March and followed up that quality result with a ninth place finish at the Verrado Founders Championship two weeks ago. Paul has posted rounds of 67 and 68 to start the Arrowhead Classic. He will start the third round in a tie for sixth place.

Mitchel Carlson $6,800

He finished 26th at the Western Skies Classic last month. Through two rounds of competitive play at the Arrowhead Classic, Carlson has a cumulative two round score of five under par. In my opinion, Carlson presents outstanding value as he arrives on the slate at a Draftkings price of only $6,800.
