5th round

It may be frowned upon at a party but double-dipping (at wide receiver) is highly encouraged in this draft class.

Duvernay adds elite speed to the Vikings class to complement the route-running ability of Quartney Davis. I love his physicality and he seems to relish using his compact frame run over opposing defensive backs.

Duvernay isn’t particularly useful as a route-runner when asked to do more than run in a straight line, but who cares if that straight line goes straight to the end zone?

6th round

Bradley is an excellent athlete but doesn’t quite have the size to be an every down linebacker in the NFL. He’s good depth and likely a productive special teams player here on Day 3.

Wonnum has all the traits you look for in a developmental pass rusher and was an excellent tester at the Combine. He could fit in Minnesota’s pass-rush rotation and as a special teams contributor early on.

7th round

Clark was a stalwart at left tackle the past three seasons for Charlotte. His excellent length (34 1/8″ arms) would be nice on the outside but his athleticism likely pushes him to guard at the next level.

The Vikes go in-state with Golden Gophers’ cornerback Chris Williamson in round seven.

Williamson was a productive member of the Minnesota secondary for the past two seasons after transferring from Florida.

The re-branding is officially complete. Give a warm welcome to your 2020 Minnesota Utes.
