3rd round

Is he a wide receiver? Is he a tight end? Regardless of the position fit, Notre Dame’s Chase Claypool is an awfully fun player to watch.

As many were busy hypothesizing a potential switch to tight end, Claypool proceeded to light the Combine on fire with elite testing numbers.

Claypool is much more than a pure athlete, he also happens to be a really good football player. He displays a nastiness as a run blocker and creates mismatches in the passing game when lined up against linebackers.

Claypool is the type of player Sean Payton would love to add to this offense as a unique weapon and versatile for Drew Brees.
