Las Vegas Raiders

Is anyone going to be surprised if the Las Vegas Raiders trade up to get a quarterback? No, of course not.

With this being their first year in the Sin City, Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden will be looking to make a splash and what better way to do that than to trade up to pick number four? The Bengals taking Joe Burrow at number one overall is a foregone conclusion, but Tagovailoa and Herbert should still be there at pick four (assuming no one jumps ahead of the Giants, of course).

Unlike the Chargers, Las Vegas has the draft capital to make a move like this happen. They not only hold the 12th pick in the first round, but also the 19th pick due to trading Khalil Mack to the Bears in 2018.

That extra first round pick paired with the one they already have would easily be enough to sway the Giants to move down. They might not get a world class talent like Isaiah Simmons out of Clemson, but instead could add two great prospects in the first round.

We know Las Vegas isn’t fully committed to having Derek Carr as their quarterback for much longer considering they were in the Tom Brady sweepstakes. That means the Carr era is coming to a close, but could it be as soon as the 2020 NFL Draft?
