Justin Jefferson. 49. WR. LSU. 30. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

There is a chance that Justin Jefferson goes a lot earlier in the draft if teams hope on the wide receiver train, but there is so much receiver talent later in the draft that it’s possible some teams may wait. Therefore, it is possible that the Packers would be able to grab one of the top players at the position at the back end of the first.

In college, Jefferson was a freak and was tied for the FBS lead with 111 receptions for 1,540 yards in 15 starts. He finished second in the nation behind only his teammate Ja’Marr Chase with 18 receiving touchdowns on the year.

Jefferson will be the one to bring down contested catches and will be a go-to target for his quarterback. A lot of his production could come from the slot, and the Packers would love to utilize that skill set. The team was so successful in the past with Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson in the slot, that QB Aaron Rodgers would love to have a true slot guy in the mix once again.

With Rodgers playing window closing, the Packers will want to make a few more Super Bowl runs, and an elite wideout like Justin Jefferson could help them get there.
